Dr. Melvin George

Melvin George is the statewide Rangeland Management Specialist for University of California Cooperative Extension. Dr. George conducts extension education and research programs in grazing management, rangeland inventory and monitoring and water quality. Recent research includes biotic and abiotic influences on livestock distribution and development of ecological site descriptions for California rangelands. Dr. George is a member of the Plant Sciences Department at UC Davis.
